Where did you order your reeds from, and what brand were they? It may be weeks before they get here. I've got a couple of Jones reeds from WWBW that I'm still waiting on, and it's been a month. Not all reed purveyors keep reeds in stock; sometimes they have to be back-ordered, or special-ordered, from the actual reedmakers.

Nielsen Woodwinds will shoot reeds out of a cannon to you--I've ordered them at 10 a.m. and had them in the mail the next afternoon. Of course I do live just downstate from them, but still...that fast turnaround time bespeaks a company with somebody, somewhere, on the ball.

I've been ordering reeds from them with a credit card online for 18 months now and have had no problems whatsoever.

I'd go with their Black/Medium Soft, for you. I find that their Black reedmaker tends to make reeds that come out slightly softer than their other reedmakers; their Black Medium tends to be the equivalent of the Green or Red Medium Soft. So a Black/Medium Soft is softer than a Green or Red Medium Soft.
