Hi, Dutchy, thanks for your delightful messages! Now, about being implusive...I can be at times, but there is a lot of thought behind it, and you won't believe how much we sacrifice around here to have our toys. But as a matter of fact, I can't help but notice lately the super deals that I have gotten. For example, that sheet music book that contains Gabriel's Oboe cost me just over $5.00 with shipping. The book itself was $1.99.
I'm a real thrift shopper, I have to admit, and it seems like I have been given this ability to know when to buy. But as it is my budget is about down to zero for awhile. Grin.
You mentioned about crafts...as a matter of fact, when I get off of here, I'll be painting my DH's logo on his guitar head on his latest guitar creation. LOL
I am so very thrilled to obtain my toy oboe and so excited to see how that goes. As I said previously, I just love playing instruments for the thrill of making beautiful sounds. As you can imagine, we have a very loud home and it is very noisy with sounds everywhere; I imagine not too many homes are like that. Our living room is not normal; more wall to wall amps than furniture. By no means have I achieved what so many here have accomplished; and to be honest, it is a thrill to be here and read what other people have accomplished; I am so happy for all of you.
Dutchy, you may not realize this, but your message above helped me a lot to understand the oboe better. I really appreciated it. Thank you.
And I hope I don't sound like a duck for too long, I don't want to be heckeled...hee hee hee.
I have bookmarked all the websites that you gave me for future reference, though. Thanks bunches.
