 Thank you Judy for posting.  I so enjoyed reading about your new beginnings with your  instrument.  I am so happy for you that you were able to get such a nice oboe.  Wow!
 I should be getting the oboe tomorrow.  Hopefully, I'll have a good report.  Judy, from what I am gathering around here, many people want a Fox oboe, so you did very well.  I am so happy for you in everyway.
 It sounds like you are having a very rewarding experience in such a short time of practice.  What kind of lessons are you taking, as far as how often do you meet with the teacher, how long are the sessions, and so forth?  I would be interested in knowing.  Also, what are the lessons focused on?  Does she/he give you a lot of homework?  What then is your homework like?
 I take it that your teacher is making reeds?  Or not?  By the way, how do you share reeds hygenically?  I noticed that others here have shared reeds in the messages; how do they clean them to feel like they are safe to use?
