E is a difficult note to keep in tune - not just on Lorees. If the oboe itself is sharp, there are a number of things you can do to the instrument if you are so inclined.
First check to make sure the Bb resonance key on the bell is completely closed.
Make sure the low B key is not too high. Hold the B key closed when you play octave Es.
Put a little piece of tape around the inside of the bell. Experiment to find the right spot.
Lower the D key a little bit (the one with the split ring).
Put a little nail polish in the chimney on the upper side of the D tone hole.
