The question here is, why would you want to do that?
For curiosity's sake, sure. To have reeds that will play well to modern standards, not so sure. I certainly don't think there is any premium to having old reeds, and I would suspect there may be some disadvantages.
It's best to learn to walk before you try to run. Just get some decent student reeds from a reliable OBOE source (Neilsen, or one of the reedmakers we've discussed, or some other comparable source) and get to know the standard operating procedure before you try to branch out. You will save yourself money, time, and anguish in the process.
