One.....One last attempt.....I am not advocating pulling the oboe reed out as a general rule...!!!!!! I merely suggested that with the initial post there was the possibility that the reed was very sharp in pitch. If you tried to play at that pitch level there would be big problems with the A and C. My 58VW did you try pulling the reed out?
