I apologise, my response has clearly hit a nerve and I didn't post to upset you or your teacher or anyone else on the board. I don't personally know your teacher, and as I haven't the faintest idea who you are either I don't see how you can expect me to know what her 'pedigree' is. Neither do I expect you to know my background, or the background of my own teacher.

I express only my own opinion gained from my own experience.
The limitations of text only don't permit tone of voice and intonation which would perhaps have made my meaning clearer.

So, please don't be offended. My response was not a personal attack, or 'jumping' on your teachers opinion.

I stand by my opinions, otherwise I would not post them and I still can't see where you got the idea that I am trying to insult your teacher who I don't know from a fence post and probably never will.
