Well thank you everyone for your input.

For my reed situation,I know my Rico is horrible. So far now,I'm using a Fox reed, and even though it's a year and a half old,it still works better than my Rico one.I usually prefer Marlin Lesher reeds, but I still need to earn some money to buy it online.

For the gurgling thing,I haven't exactly check if there are any imperfections in the instrument yet,but I have a feeling may actually just become much more stronger.I'm only using a medium soft reed, and I probably should be on a medium reed by now.

And finally,my teacher is not even close to an oboe expert. He's brass player,so he may not be that reliable for this type of thing.Plus,we don't really have any oboe teachers around my area.So I'm left to fend on my own and usually just use sites like these to find help.

I know it'll take some time to get back on track with the oboe, and I'll just practice hard like I used to back then.(Yes,with proper practicing and all that good stuff.)

Thanks to everyone again who replied, and I'll welcome any more advice.
