Yes, that's correct. I'm explaining that your advice is bad advice. I'm urging bystanders to seek credible resources. To write a sharpening guide, you should at least know that reed knives are different from hunting knives, that there are many kinds of burrs, and that a particular kind is necessary for reedmaking. You should also sharpen your knife more often. Once a week, according to your blog?

I'm glad you're satisfied with your reeds, but that may say more about your standards than their quality. Fortunately, since you've posted recordings, individuals can decide for themselves if your method leads to refined reeds and complete control.
