Quote:
Oh right, so Gordet is a French-sounding name stamped on an instrument imported and tweaked to Ben Storch's spec - and could be either French, German or Italian. I wonder who the European makers were? Could they have been Malerne, Kreul, Orsi or Prestini?
Is there a hint of sarcasm here?
Peter Hurd's website (which is linked up there) says
Quote:
"GORDET" – "German" Gordet by Hans Kreul (finished by Ben Storch). "Italian" Gordet to be deteremined. "French" Gordet to be determined.
so at least part of that question is answered.
