Thanks very much. This is getting right to the heart of the matter...

I would probably want to limit output to around 1000 per year ( 100 per month for 10 months a year...)

Do you do all stages of cane preparation yourself or have help?

How much time (hours per month) do you think you spend doing this?
Sounds like you deliver upon demand, so is you effort sporadic or paced at your own schedule for the most part?

Do you get the anticipated benefit of always having great reeds for yourself, cream of the crop so to speak?

For me, each reed is a pro reed candidate until proven otherwise, so then possibly a student reed happens. Do you do it that way, or do you construct reeds based on particular player's needs from the start?
