Author: cowtime  Date:   2008-03-10 02:02 Exactly right-except that I am not male . I paid all of $200 for this old oboe shaped object. It was a matter of here's something that will suffice to tell me if I really want to put the time, work and money into re-learning to play AND if I can physically still do it. So, this old thing has taught me that yes, I do want to re-learn it, I am physically capable, arthritis is not too much of a problem, I figured out a lot about how the thing works and now I can start looking for a real oboe. I could not, in good conscience pawn this off on some unsuspecting victim and I consider the money well spent at this point.
