I use the MCW Chudnow staple with a cork (not the Sierra model). I have heard from others who like his two all-metal varieties of staple that use an O ring instead of a cork, but I do not find them enhancing in my set up. The Stevens staples have a similar shape in the staple opening, and the Chudnow mandrel fits them pretty well. They use thinner metal in the staple, and sometimes I feel that I get more projection with them. You can contact them at :
