Adjusting screws on any oboe are all (or should all be) the same length by each maker's own specifications (eg. Howarth adjusting screws are all 7mm in length), but the amount of adjustment is variable so they will all be at different positions in the adjusting pips. It's impossible to guarantee they will all be set to the same position so the heads are flush or slightly proud of the pips.
