doing a bit of EH research
... would someone care to explain what #1, #2, #3 bocals mean for EH?
I've also come across XL and XP descriptors (Fox), what does this mean and what does it imply when making informed choices?
Do bocals come with more or less curvature?
Think in one place i read that the reed fits further down on one kind of bocal than on another? Does this significantly affect the sound?
Also, curiosity question, does anyone use a flared rather than bulb bell on EH, presume customised, if so, how much would that change the sound?
