1,2 and 3 are lengths - 1 being the shortest.
Depending on the make, the curve of the crook will vary. Crooks can be bent, but best take it to someone who knows how to bend them to a different angle.
If you want to try a flared bell, try a clarinet bell. My Selmer clarinet bells fit my Marigaux cor fairly well, and although the sound has less resonance with the clarinet bell, it has more projection and brightness.
