Hi, I know a professional oboist/repair woman (from another doublereed community) who sells great reeds -mind you, I've been scraping mine for 15 years and never tried her's, but apparently they're really good. Her name is Angela. You can go over to her website and have a look at www.reedery.com. I think she also sells on ebay. Maybe your son would enjoy playing on these reeds!
(I know we're not supposed to sell stuff of promote anything on this bboard, so please let me know if this website suggestion goes against any bboard rules, I'll remove it)
