Yes, I like my XLight case for the same reason. I feel far less weighted carrying the 2 instruments around than if I just had ONE horn in its traditional case with me. So it's actually useful to carry a single instrument around, too. I still find it rather annoying to open, though. I can sort of cram my music folder (which is a standard, not ultrawide folio) in the pocket slot, and the plastic EH 3-piece stand. I actually often stick my laptop in the outer pocket, then carry my accessories separately.
