Old thread, but time to revive it as cases are something important in our oboe-life. My first double-case (oboe+cor) was BAM Xlight. I already had the BAM-trekking oboe case and was quite satisfied with it
The instruments don't move a lot in it so that is a plus, but it is not too much room for all my stuff! I did not like the way it opened (just google a photo). Not easy to discreetly assemble my cor halfway trough a rehearsal without resting the lid in the flutist lap...
When I bought my new cor (Mönnig 180D - HALLELUJAH) in March this year (Ludwig Frank was in Oslo, at the Norwegian music academy) I also purchased a Marcus Bonna "Connect" case. I LOVE IT! It is both double case and two separate cases. The instruments DO NOT move a millimeter (metric! Wohoo!) and the lid opens "the right way".
Mine is identical to this one at Howarths, except it is labeled "Ludwig Frank".

Sorry about the, probably, bad english. I´m Norwegian so English is my "second language".
