The Cadillac of oboe/EH cases is the Wiseman cases. I have this case and it projects the instruments extremely well. The case is made of aircraft quality wood and aluminum. It is quite heavy and has no storage but that is the price you pay for good protection. I have also heard great things about the Boston Double Reed cases. That are more traditional and cheaper then the Wiseman. Liang Wang and Tom Stacy both use the Boston double reed cases.
