Haha! Robin....i have never believed in that contraption because i don't believe that a piece of cane can ever be gouged shaped or molded in such perfection that it doesn't overlap. My solution is tucking on blade into the other. Can easily be done without the help of such a contraption. But perhaps it's time to try! Let us know more about your results. Some HD photos of the sides of the reeds?
