Try lifting your arms a little more, to make more space between your upper arm, and your ribs. This will not only open up your sound, but probably correct the angles at which your fingers touch the oboe. Without playing anything, adjust your positioning until your hands are relaxed, covering all the holes necessary for that left side Eb. (Or is this highest Eb? - either way the concept is the same) If your arms get a bit tired of holding further away from the body, that's ok. The most important thing is to have completel relaxtion, and functionality at least in your hands. Once you have your hands working, you can go back and start to relax those arms again.
Oh - if this need any clarification- by holdings your arms higher, I don't mean lifting the oboe higher, changing the angle of your arm with your shoulder (almost like chicken-wing flapping I've been told...?)
I hope this makes more sense to you than it does to me!
