There is a way to fix all this. It is a matter of training the fingers to go where you want them to go on the oboe every time. Do scales religiously. Get a hold of Christopher Weait's Book of Scales for sightreading (Oboe) then practice the first five or six pages (low majors) every day. You will be suprised to find out that in a week or two your fingering problems will have (for the most part) vanished into thin air. Chris has a website.
