The Oboe BBoard

I own a thirty year old Loree; it has a split D ring.
The problem that I have with my fingers is the last joint (distal phalangeal joint) gets stuck in flexion and the other joint (proximal interphalangeal) won't bend. This happens on both my ring and pinky fingers and so I am trying to concentrate on hand position and keeping my fingers curved.
I used to play many years ago but just started playing again a few months ago and am starting to think I should get a good instructor to work on the basics. This board has been great help, though
Although I did get this oboe from Ebay a few months ago, (I couldn't resist; it was a great deal) I had a local excellent woodwind repair person check it out before I decided to keep it; he did some minor adjustments within the last month and it seems to play well; I think the problem is me.
I just checked out the G# and that's not in the way; the links are in good alignment
So now I have to figure out if my third finger slipping off the G and D key is the problem; mirror time.
I do think I need a bit too much pressure to close the L hand E flat key so it might need a little more adjustment and maybe that's a factor here.
