Amy,
I didn't keep up with the earlier "small hands" thread, so this may have been suggested already, but have you watched your hands in a mirror while you play to make sure that your left ring finger isn't sliding off the G key when you move your left pinky to the Eb key? I've found this to be a fairly common mistake with my own students. If the fingers aren't in a curved position, or if they do not move with sufficient independence from each other, when you move your left pinky to the right to get to the Eb key, you may also be shifting your left ring finger to the right so that it leaves open the hole in the G key. It doesn't even have to leave it entirely open. Just a sliver is enough to cause problems. So that's the first thing I'd check.
Cheers,
Drew
