yes...the larynx is where the vibrato comes from. Generally the exercise on that page (which I have tried!) is designed to encourage a natural vibrato. By starting out with the huh-huh stomach abdominal vibrato, it makes it easier to find the natural vibrato.
Eventually you will just support with abdominals - no pulsing - and the vibrato should just happen. If there is any excess tension in the wind column (i.e. from your lungs to your lips) the natural vibrato won't happen. The only tension should be in the abdominals: they should press inwards, and upwards.
My tip: don't think "diaphragm". I think "play from the diaphragm" is the most overused and abused sentence in wind playing/singing. The problem rarely lies with the diaphragm, because it is largely impossible to control it! The muscles you can easily control are the abdominals. When you move them forward, and out of the way, air gets vaccuumed into the lungs. When you push them back and in, it increases the air pressure inside the air column (from lungs to lips). And voila! Support to make a good tone, and a luscious vibrato!
