A 10 or 15 minute exercise routine every other day could help. It could include some non-stressful weight movements, running in place, stretching of feet and limbs pushing against a wall, semi-situps, semi-pushups, toe touchers, etc. This would not be a stressful cardiac workout with the pulse rate increases only 15 or 20 beats/min. I do it with 15 pound weights but some persons would like less. Good luck!
