I found an article about oboe vibrato online at the following URL:

I'm assuming that this web page is from Arizona State University.
The author describes how to acquire the beginnings of a vibrato with the oboe by performing an exercise (to develop a natural, singing vibrato). I tried it, but I'm not at all sure that I know what he's talking about.
Is anyone familiar with this technique of vibrato formation? I think that
his description of the feeling of the vibrato around the larynx in the upper chest is rather good.
