Hm, with your stated prospects in amateur orchestra and ensembles, i think the duo of oboe and cor is probably your most versatile first choice
with the money coming your way, why not next ensure you have a second backup oboe, so when your main instrument is in for maintenance or repairs you're not lost without it?
Since you say you're not wild about the bass spectrum and prefer treble, why not just decide to simplify your choices by crossing bass anything off your list?
Here's another idea to throw into the mix -- perhaps a (treble) Baroque oboe might be an intriguing and versatile additional specialty instrument for you to participate in anything Bach or Handel, chamber string ensembles, popular medieval re-enactments and folk festival venues, and recorder groups might welcome the additional tone colour too
down-side -- your fingers amd embouchure will be doing a great deal of extra work, and the Baroque doesn't play as low as modern oboes, so it couldn't substitute for d'amore and yes, Baroque oboe isn't historically correct in all those venues but that would only bother a small percentage of initiated audience
if medieval military re-enactments need some old-fashioned instumentation, perhaps you could add the shawm / zurna with its very short reed & pirouette to your collection, safer to march with than modern oboe
on the other hand, don't envy you keeping up with all those different reeds
so better consider that in your long-term financial planning
