... apparently we're in confusing disagreement about clockwise / counterclockwise direction, so do let us know if tying on your reeds in the opposite direction, whatever that means to you, makes any difference to the way the blades slip for you?

... i'm right handed and tie away from my left thumb over the top of the tube, which to my mind is clockwise, and my blades will tend to slip to the right (wrong), but like another post, i actually work at trying to keep the sides evened up

... however, this discussion has inspired me to try tying in the opposite direction myself to see if the blades tend to slip to the left instead, in which case it won't matter if they're not evened up (hey, any freedom is a bonus!) {:-)
