On the surface, only the F, Bb and C need to be reworked, so it may seem relatively simple rework. But the bore must be adjusted to accommodate the changes. On the other hand, Loree must have kept the figures for sax-oboe. That may give a good clue what adjustments need to be made to the bore and other tone holes.

Can you, Chris, talk Howarth folks into taking the chance? Starting from XL, the adjustment may not be as bad as it seems to experienced oboe master techs. It is just business aspects that needs to be convincing. Does Michael have much influence in the company?
