Schools make little difference compare to how much work you have to put in to have a chance to make the major orchestra audition. But... if you work half as much to make the audition in medicine or law, you will become one of the top doctors or lawyers in your town. You must love music and willing to dedicate your life to it, or do not go into music. It could make your life meaningful, no guarantee though. But chances are low that it will make you a decent living even if you work hard.

So... are you ready to take the chance?
