Oh, right.
It a little microphone. I have one, too.
I like it because it helps reject the sound of other's playing which can compete for attention on the tuner.
I think they are Piezoelectric ceramic mics, so they do not resemble the more familiar designs of dynamic or condenser mics we usually see on stage..
And its really nice that they are so inexpensive.
