I used another oboe player's relatively cheap tuner one evening to give a concert Bb for the band to tune to as it was on his stand (and I couldn't be arsed to get mine from by bag), but it picked up the overtones instead telling me I was playing an F. The other oboe player was watching the screen and kept telling me 'You're playing an F!' - so I got fed up with his tuner and dug out my old Korg with a needle readout which is far more reliable (even though it devours 9V batteries like nothing else).
