Elizabeth,
Adding the 3 fingers of the RH gives no significant improvement in pitch. Is that a sign that shows the C is perhaps really too low in adjustment?

The C can even be 20 cents flat with a 8mm scrape and 1-2 mm tip. Your long scrape reed is also flat on my instrument. So is Hans Wolter's French reed, and so is Ke Xun (some). Sounds like it is the oboe!
Chris,
No water/dirt here. Just flatness! It was suggested to me that i add something to make the A tone hole smaller or to undercut the C tone hole bigger. What does what and what is better recommended?
