"I definitely concur with the idea of dark/flat and sharp/bright now that I think about it. However, as has been said here before, dark usually just equals good and bright bad. Does that imply it's better to be flat than sharp? Hah!"
Well, it would, except that the more usual tendency is to go sharp, so dark just means "in tune."
