Linda Pennebaker is my good friend and high school classmate. She's an excellent oboist (she played in the Chattanooga Symphony when she was in high school) and an even better english horn player.
Tell her Big Daddy says hello to Big Mama and ask her for advice. She's as nice a person as you will find and will go out of her way to help you get started with an instrument and decent reeds.
