Hey! Whats up? Thats great for you that you are switching or learning a new instrument. I started out on flute (in fifth grade) and in seventh grade I switched to oboe. Best desision of my life! I love it. Some tips:
ALWAYS listen to your private lesson teacher
practice practice practice!!!!!!!
Believe in yourself
and most importantly breathe! (other wise you might turn blue! LOL)
