I recently bought a copy of the martinu concerto (piano reduction), the publisher is "eschig" and when listening a holliger recording there are many notes different from the reduction and one major difference in the last movement around the cadenza, in the sheet music there is one cadenza, at figure 10, but on the recording there are two, with a tutti between them, which sounds like the tutti repeated leading up to the cadenza, after where it is marked allegro. Is this a major error in the edition or did martinu write two versions? Or perhaps Mr Holliger was in a creative mood....?
