Yes, Baron, it is. And look at all of us who spend hours in solitude at the reed desk trying to get something that plays high, low, soft, loud, articulates, slurs, plays in tune, and BTW, has a lovely sound from those little bits of cane!! It seems normal to me, but my Mother thinks we are all little weird........
I was really hoping it would last through the 2 last Messiahs tomorrow, but that nice reed (I made Thursday) died today - I played on it for a grand total of 6 hours.
Guess I'll be up early tomorrow morning with the reed knife in hand ;-}
