I have a Loree DM (KZ17) and I love it. People have offered to buy it from me after playing it for about a minute. I do notice a slight sound differance, my reeds that I make for mine (not with DM staples though) sound more bright on an AK. The only complain I have for my DM is that it is more resistant than any AKs, normal bores, Royales, or even a Laubin oboe. but it keeps very stable pitch. Perhaps it is the bore, I dont know.

It was sent to me by accident, but I love it. People have told me they love it, so it's a keeper. I went to RDG woodwinds to get my oboe checked over and they asked me what kind it was, and I told them it was a DM. She told me that is like the second DM they have ever had go through the shop. Then I told her I brought it there before, and she said mine might have been the only one. I've had it for about 5 years now and if I were to purchase another Loree, I would get a DM.
