 Hey someone,

I have not played on a Marigaux before, but I will tell you this...

 1) Lorees are expensive. This is true. But also, honestly they are not worth what you pay for them. Maybe if you're a pro and you get them to custom-make one for you then it's good, but I have yet to find a Loree that compares to my Yamaha.
 2) I don't know what Yamaha model that your source is talking about, but I can tell you that my Yamaha Custom has had no problems at all! The sounds is way better than any Loree (or Buffet for that matter) oboe that I have tried and it feels way better as well. I have had no 'alignment' problems as far as I know. As well, the Yamaha is only about $5500 which is a damn good deal for an instrument of that calibre.

 Hope this helps!

 Graham
