Hello Joepie,

I did send a reasonable e-mail to the people from Buffet. Even from years ago, they never bothered to reply my e-mails. At the moment i am trying to secure a rental, possibly from another country. What a frustration this is. The time, effort, and costs incurred just because i needed to borrow another oboe 2 weeks ago, send the Buffet to Germany etc. Perhaps if i had a more reputable name, they would respond to this situation more seriously. What troubles me is the fact that they make it sound like it's OKAY to have a tenon broken, that it is perfectly normal for their oboes (perhaps because it is easy to fix IF i live in Berlin for instance).

I should respect their holiday customs of course....but in such cases of desperation. Do they not understand that in South East Asia we have no other choice? Perhaps they have no interest to participate seriously in the market here but how can that be when they reputedly import the most amount of tosca clarinets in the world to Singapore alone? Sigh!
