Thanks for the tip, Chris. I was always told that a sling was unnecessary unless you're playing for long periods of time. Well, I've been playing for a few seconds!

And I did do a few gigs recently where I didn't use the sling, and it was fine. On the other hand, I didn't have any C#s to play!

I also like the idea of raising the C# key in the pinky cluster. The thought has occurred to me many times. I think the best thing to do is to sit down with a good repair tech and see what they can do for me.
