First welcome to the group.
Second, I highly recommend getting soonest Pat McFarland's superb Oboe Adjustment Guide, available at Forrests in Berkeley. A bargain @ $16.95 plus shipping ($5.25) & tax. A wealth of info & most user friendly. Every time I adjust my oboe I refer to it, which is once or twice a month. I have to remind myself it is not often that the reed is out of whack, it's a maladjusted screw or two.
