 Try to get a plastic bodied oboe with the same keywork configuration (or as near as possible) as your main oboe, so a Fox 330 would be ideal.
 
 I've modified a plastic Selmer Signet 104 so it's the same spec as my Howarth S5, so at least I now have an oboe to play outdoors in all manner of weather instead of putting my kingwood one at risk.
