... good stuff, looks like you're setup on a pretty good instrument with F res, so you don't need to use Eb with forked F's (lucky you!)

glad you've decided those particular reeds have to go

embouchure management next -- what strength are you playing in Jones reeds? Medium hard sound a bit better than Medium, not so flat, and now's a great time to experiment with other reeds too, other bboarders can help you with recommendations there

every so often i get a 'plain cut' Jones MH just to tide me over a bad patch of reed-making, they're fairly easy and responsive for me now (but i certainly didn't think so when i was trying to move up from medium to med-hard!) and the really funny thing is, i'm playing those reeds with a lot nicer tone than i could in my early days, so embouchure continues to grow and change over several years

... i found some interesting articles on Platz oboe by using google including some pictures of instruments on sale, and they all had low Bb on bell
