okay lets get started..........
reeds:
*I have hand made reeds made in austin ( i live in south padre island)
*I do sometimes get Jones and adjust them ( don't currently have any right now
*they are american scrape
* kinda easy to blow (i'm going to ask her for reeds a bit harder)
oboe type:
*PLatz
* Serial #: 1185 on top & bottom joint and 1154 on bell (can anyone find out the age w/ this info, i tried wi/ no sucsess
* Full Con. excpet no left F, 3 8ve, and no little key for the low Bb
* Wooden w/ no cracks
tone:
*well i used to have a nicer tone its just that the new reeds that came in all just plain out suck
*to airy sounding
* flat
*flappy and unintense unlike before (and i didn't even like my tone before now its just bad)
*most like tones are low D, Middle D, E nat, F#, and above the staff G
I wake up go to School, then Band Practice, then Practice my Oboe, then Sleep..... The wake up and do it again.
