... hm, yes overall Y441 is a beautiful instrument, plays well, feels smooth, looks good, ergonomically comfortable, easy enough to play in tune, although there's been a steady progression towards more sharpness for F#, G and G# in the 2.5 years I've had mine and it's been key tweaked twice already for that
I also having lots of difficulty filling up 2nd 8ve notes, there just doesn't seem to be enough wood up there to give it any resonance, but maybe to the manufacturer's oriental ear those thin pure sounds are exquisitely beautiful, i prefer a fuller, more operatic tone in the upper register, something richer in flavor
bit confused by other comments, my understanding from the advertising is the Y411 (older discontinued model) was the simple bore, and the Y441 (newer model) is the same bore as the Y841 ... ?
