chris,
I'm new to the forum but just found your message that said you had a ten year gap before taking up the oboe again. I found that very heartening as am beginning again after three years out.
I did my Grade VIII aged 12 but gave up a few years out of university, when children came along. Now I look back and weep for that lost skill as I am puffed out after a few notes and biting like mad into my bottom lip to retain control. Do you have any advice for getting back into it?
